Keir Starmer is stepping down. The UK is already there.

On June 16, British Parliament member Rupert Lowe shared The Rape Gang Inquiry Report on X, which tells the story of how Pakistani and other South Asian Muslims have carried out the genocidal rape, psychopathic torture, and systematic murder of white British girls on British soil with the knowledge and help of British institutions for over 50 years. Today, less than a week after the report’s release, Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced he is stepping down. If he is proven to be at all directly responsible for what you are about to read, he should be imprisoned for life.
If you have not yet read the 218-page report, I will summarize all you need to know here. But I warn you, I have already told my wife not to read this. Although I believe we all have a moral duty to stay informed, I also have no wish to cause anyone trauma or physical pain, and what I am about to share is capable of doing both. Even as a former war correspondent who has interviewed genocide survivors from at least a dozen different countries around the world, what follows is one of the most horrific examples of genocidal rape I have ever encountered.
The report itself is a privately funded, non-statutory document released by Lowe and survivor-turned-activist Sammy Woodhouse, who helped expose the Rotherham rape scandal, which involved mostly Pakistani men gang-raping, sexually enslaving, and torturing at least 1,400 white British girls. The report is distinct from the UK’s official Statutory Independent Inquiry into Grooming Gangs. Unlike that inquiry, this one was crowdfunded, raising over £790,000 ($1.05 million) from about 24,000 individual donors, which gave it independence from the government. This was a necessary step since the government itself is deeply complicit in this atrocity. But this also meant the inquiry could not compel witnesses or demand documents. The most powerful evidence therefore presented in the report, in my opinion, is the testimony of the victims, which I will share below.
The report combines survivor testimony with evidence from previous investigations, arguing that organized gangs of Pakistani Muslim men systematically groomed, raped, and tortured 250,000 white girls across at least 149 local authority districts, or nearly 40% of the UK. But that headline number is not original to this inquiry. The report says, “No such count exists because the British state has failed to record it.” The report instead attributes the figure not to a formal study, but to a comment Lord Pearson of Rannoch made in the House of Lords in May 2019:
If you take the accepted figure of 1,400 victims in Rotherham alone and extend it across the country, you come to a much larger figure. Indeed, Rotherham’s MP, the courageous Sarah Champion, has put the figure at 1 million.
The Rotherham inquiry conservatively identified 1,400 victims between 1997 and 2013, but it could be the case that Rotherham has the highest rate of such crimes anywhere in the country. Maybe police in Rotherham are especially corrupt. Or unbelievably incompetent. Maybe the city is home to a particularly radical subset of Pakistani Muslims who carry out such acts at much higher rates than anywhere else in the UK or, indeed, the world. We just don’t know. We therefore cannot assume that the rate in Rotherham is the same nationwide, so we cannot extrapolate that figure in the way that the report does, which many have been repeating since.
English authorities identified 18,700 suspected victims in 2018, up from 3,300 five years before. A statutory public office identified 19,000 potential victims of grooming gangs in 2024. If there were also roughly 19,000 potential victims for each of the years between, which is a reasonable assumption, that would total 133,000 potential victims over seven years. If, however, we only add the numbers we actually have — 1,400, 3,300, 18,700, and 19,000 — we get 42,400. How many of these rapists were South Asian Muslim men, or Pakistani men in particular?
We cannot answer that either, unfortunately, because police officials have not only been silencing the victims, but also covering the tracks of the rapists for them by simply not recording their information. A national audit published in January noted a consistent pattern whereby the ethnicity of rapists was simply not recorded, but that when it was, it was often Pakistani. Yet despite this, “The system claims there is an overwhelming problem with White perpetrators when that can’t be proved. This does no one any favours at all, and least of all those in the Asian, Pakistani, or Muslim communities who needlessly suffer as those with malicious intent use this obfuscation to sow and spread hatred.”
As you shall see, experts, investigators, and victims have repeatedly and consistently said that these cases overwhelmingly, if not exclusively, involve Pakistani men or, in same cases, also Indian and Bangladeshi men. But I want to be very clear about something, which is why I am not interested in digging too deeply into the numbers. The scale of the problem is only part of the story because even if there were only 100 confirmed victims, it would still constitute genocidal rape.
What follows is only a small sample of the victim testimonies included in the report, and the report only covers a portion of the total. To give you just one example, this report leaves out the story of Mohammed Karrar, who branded an 11-year-old girl on the ass with an M for Mohammed, threatened to cut off a girl’s face, and used a bike pump to expand a girl’s anal passage to more comfortably rape her.
We begin with Dr. Ella Hill, a Rotherham survivor. In March 2018, The Independent quoted her at length. “Grooming gangs are not like pedophile rings,” the subtitle read. “Instead, they operate almost exactly like terrorist networks.” The fact that these groups are organized with a specific goal of destroying British society, in the same way that Hamas is organized with the goal of destroying Israel, means that this is not simply random criminal activity or gang violence and anyone who thinks otherwise simply doesn’t know what time it is. These girls were specifically targeted because of their race.
As a teenager, I was taken to various houses and flats above takeaways in the north of England, to be beaten, tortured, and raped over 100 times. I was called a “white slag” and “white cunt” as they beat me.
They made it clear that because I was a non-Muslim, and not a virgin, and because I didn’t dress “modestly,” that they believed I deserved to be “punished.” They said I had to “obey” or be beaten.
…
I was told white girls are trash. They are all whores. They are lower than shit … They don’t obey Allah, so they deserve to be punished. They don’t dress modestly. Muslim women are pure because they cover down to their ankles … White girls show the curves of their body, so they are asking for it. They should be raped as punishment for not obeying Allah. Kaffir (non-Muslim) girls are worthless. Sex with a kaffir girl doesn’t count as adultery … They believed it was their duty to punish us, as they believed that doing so made them good Muslims. This is what they were taught by their mothers. They were taught that witches in Pakistan are blonde, so blondes are more evil, and they deserve worse punishment.
I was told that in Islam, if a girl or woman looks at a man who isn’t her brother, father or her husband, then that means she wants to have sex with him. So I was told to look at the floor when I was around Muslim men. So when I did look at a waiter in a restaurant, I was then taken away to be gang raped as “punishment.” I was told that according to their faith community, girls are old enough for sex when they start their periods (at age 11).
When Muhammad was 53, he is said to have had sex with his 9-year-old bride Aisha. This story is found in Sahih al-Bukhari, which is considered by Sunni Muslims as second only to the Quran itself in terms of its authority. Of the 96% of Pakistanis who are Muslim, 95% are Sunni. But both Sunni and Shia Muslims also believe Muhammad was without sin, a concept known as isma. That said, reform-minded Muslims, though a minority, will admit that certain Quranic verses suggest God did mildly reproach Muhammad on a few occasions. That’s as close as one gets to an admission that Muhammad ever made a mistake. But what were those mistakes? They include things such as not executing everyone after the Battle of Badr, giving consent when some of his people begged not to join his war against Tabuk, or feeling some hesitance about marrying his own daughter-in-law (which he did). In other words, Allah does not criticize him for consummating his marriage with Aisha.
Many of us had to endure the sexual act of ‘thighing’ (mufākhadhah) which I’m now told is a religiously sanctioned way of molesting children according to some Islamic scriptures. (You have to lie down on your back with your legs straight together, and they straddle you and fuck between your thighs).
I was beaten, strangled, suffocated, and my head held under water, tortured, kicked, and raped over 100 times. I was told that if you don’t scream when you’re raped, then you’re consenting to the rape, so you should be stoned to death. I was told that Muslim girls know this (because the Quran says that Aisha’s silence was her consent to the marriage to Mohammed). So Muslim girls know to scream, but white girls don’t, so that’s their fault then, because they’re not Muslim. When I did wear a headscarf to try to protect myself from being raped, I was told to get it off, and they raped me again.
Please remember this whenever anyone tries to tell you that Islam is a feminist religion, or that women in Islamic societies are honored and respected by the faith.
They threatened to kill my parents if my parents tried to stop me seeing them. I was intimidated with guns, and threatened with body parts being cut off with knives. When I tried to escape I was told that I had offended their honor, so they had to spill my blood. They did this in an honor attack.
Just 12 years old, Kate decided to take her own life. One Saturday night, after her family had gone to sleep, she left her home in the early hours and walked to a secluded location where she intended to commit suicide, hoping she would not be found. She paused beneath a tree to shelter from the rain, and after a while she heard a group of men approaching. By their tone Kate suspected that they were drunk, and when they saw her they began jeering. They called her a “no-homer” and suggested that she could “stay warm on their dicks.”
Kate, terrified and regretful, waited for the men to pass before attempting to return home — but as she was walking, she was grabbed from behind by one of the men. Kate was overpowered by the three men, forced to the ground, her arms and legs were pinned, and the men took turns to orally and vaginally rape her. When it ended, the men hit her repeatedly and threatened to find her, kill her and harm her loved ones if she ever told anyone what had happened.
The men had filmed the gang rape, apparently checked her ID during the rape, used it to email the video to her and threaten to release it to the public if she did not meet them, which she did. They then raped her again, gave her a phone, told her she was now their sex slave. They began prostituting her to men and live-streaming the rapes.
If the livestream did not generate what they considered to be a satisfactory amount of money, Kate was punished.
Eventually, Kate told her therapists, who convinced her to go to the police.
At the police station, Kate was taken into the interview room. Before the interview began, and without Kate’s mother present, Kate was told that this was her “last chance” to say that her report was untrue. She was warned that if any part of her account could not be supported by evidence, she could and would be arrested. For an extended period of time, both officers repeatedly told her how much trouble she would be in if any detail of her statement was disproved, and that she could withdraw the allegation before the interview started with no further consequences. They also suggested that her parents would be relieved if she said the incident had not happened.
Remember, these officers were talking to a frightened 12-year-old girl. Kate later tried to kill herself again. Her mother found her diary, describing the rapes, and pushed her daughter to return to the police despite Kate explaining that the police had already pressured her into silence. Police concluded that she had wanted it because she had been drinking. Imagine what would happen if, in the United States, a group of men in their 20s and 30s got a 12-year-old drunk and took turns having sex with her and live-streaming it. The simple fact that she is 12 would make it rape, period. The fact that she is drunk would be an added charge against the men, not evidence of their innocence. For the next year, Kate frequently disappeared from school, from home, and was often raped multiple times a day. One night, she met her Muslim rapists and they had a girl with them.
When Kate arrived, they were holding the girl “tightly” around the neck. One of the gang members told Kate that the girl was being “broken in” that night, and that the men she would be “servicing” were particularly “brutal.” Kate attempted to intervene, telling the gang members that she would take on the “jobs” instead. In response, the gang members beat and raped her.
At one point, “the gang trafficked Kate to a town far from her home where she was restrained and raped repeatedly on a canal boat — including, she alleges, by a police officer.”
She escaped and found her way to an old woman’s home. The woman called the police, who told Kate she was lying (Kate did not mention being raped by a cop). Kate was placed on a Child Protection Plan by the local authority. She shared a diary with one of the social workers containing details about the sexual abuse she had been suffering, though once again she was not believed.
Not only did officers coach her, before the recording began, into withdrawing a true report, but for years and years afterward, professionals treated her exploitation as a “lifestyle choice.”
He arranged girls for the men but also acted as a protector. He bought me phones, drinks, and made me feel special. I trusted him.
One night, after one of the gang members raped her, as often happened, this “protector” showed up, she says, “found me, bought me food, and took me home. I passed out and woke to him rubbing his penis on my lips.”
We were given bottles of red wine. After being forced to have sex with between 15 and 20 men … My own parents called the police but they were not interested in pursuing what had happened.
In another case, the local government council provided accommodation to a Pakistani Muslim because he said he was homeless.
This flat was used to take girls for sex. We spent many nights at this flat, drinking alcohol, and playing a game called spin the bottle. I now believe that the men manipulated the game so that it always landed on me. I would often end up very drunk and naked. At the end of the night, the other girls would be taken home, but I would be kept back and subjected to sexual acts by the men. … Despite all this, the authorities treated me as though I was to blame for what was happening.
I heard lots of stories from Western women where their children had been kidnapped and they’d never see them again. Western women that had been married, gone to (the Middle East), their children had been taken.
It was all of the white girls in every home that I went to. And I mean, I’ve seen girls locked ... I remember a man opening the back of a van and I saw maybe 15, 20 girls locked in dog cages. Looked like they’re on drugs.
But at the age of, I think I was 16, 17, they said to me at the sexual health clinic, and I was checked out, I was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. And they said the chances of me ever having a child were very, very, very slim. Because of what I’ve been through. They said because of the chlamydia, because of the state of my ovaries, and because of the pelvic inflammatory disease, I had a very bad environment in there, basically, that that wouldn’t probably hold a child.
These descriptions, of men raping women until they can no longer have children, or taking them as literal slaves back to the Middle East and then taking their children from them, and doing it specifically to women of a particular race, along with the organized and explicitly ideological nature of the attacks, is yet more reason why this constitutes genocidal rape.
Do you want to kiss me? And I’m like, no, not really. He’s like, right, okay, we can get it on. And I was like, no. I said, I’m on my period. That was the first thing that came to mind, I wasn’t. But that was my first excuse. He’s like, oh, it’s okay, it doesn’t matter. So I was like, no, no, no, pushing him away. And he pulled my legs forward so that I was almost laid, like slouched. And he pushed me back. And he pulled my pants down, got on top of me and raped me. And I was saying no, I was kicking at the same time. I was 12 years old. This guy, just so I can say this clearly, was taken to trial and caught. He was put on a retrial and he walked away. He’s now walking the streets.
One of the most horrific aspects of this is, of course, the complicity of British government workers themselves, the very people whose job was to protect these vulnerable children, who would instead bring them to Muslim rapists like a fucking delivery service.
They would toot the horn of the car and then a child would be taken to the front door (by a staff member of the children’s home).
I remember the first time I was taken into the sexual health clinic by my social worker. She walked me in there and it turned out that I had chlamydia in my throat and vagina. And I’d also got gonorrhoea at that time. At the same time, they also diagnosed me with genital warts. And then a few months later, I was taken back again. I was diagnosed with chlamydia again, gonorrhoea again, but this time it was also a pelvic inflammatory disease. Never once did any nurse or doctor question any of that.
The male staff (at the children’s home) would keep taking the children to the arcade, and done up in nice clothing.
Panellist: So are you saying that the staff at the home were selling you to these foreign men?
Yes, it very much looked like it, something was being set up, they knew the names of the children, they were all hanging around in back to back taxis.
When I was 15 they trafficked me to Birmingham. I walked into the bathroom in the flat and there was a dead girl in the bath.
I was told … to gain more weight, she said Somali men like big women, I needed to eat more and was trying to feed me.
He put a cigarette out on the baby’s face.
I remember witnessing severe abuse directed towards the baby while the mother was forced to watch. I recall seeing cigarettes being put onto the baby. The woman was white, the baby was of mixed heritage. These men then killed the baby.
It was actually quite a brutal sexual assault. He dug his fingernails into me and to me, it seemed there was no actual pleasure for him out of that.
The police didn’t do anything last time. I told them that it was essentially forced. And they smirked at me in my own home and left.
I want the institutions to say, you know what, we hold our hands up. We believe you and we’re sorry. I gave up getting justice a long time ago, but just for it to be recognised and believed, that’s all I want. When you’re being told that you’re a liar for such a long time, you begin to believe it, I suppose. I just want someone to say, do you know what? We messed up. We failed in our duty to protect you. And we’re sorry. And we’re going to learn from this.
The worst people that exist in this situation, apart from the perpetrators of that horrendous abuse, are the people that sat in those positions within those authorities that had every opportunity to do something about it and chose not to. And when you do that over several decades, then it results in situations like this. And that’s how that has thrived. And that is how that culture has, it’s how it was born, it’s how it’s thrived, it’s how it’s surviving, and it’s how it will continue.
It started when I was 13, probably about six, seven hundred different men over the three years.
One girl even said that the gangs are essentially immune from any legal action.
Untouchable. They are. Because nobody wants to admit that there’s a problem because they don’t want to be deemed as racist. And also because it goes higher up and they don’t want it to be blown open.
Indeed, the rot goes all the way to the very top. Goodbye, Starmer.
I remember being with my friend, and she lived in a children’s home. And they would come and pick us up from outside. And then the care home would ring the police and obviously tell them. And then the police would come out, and they would call us prostitutes.
I was beaten, black and blue, raped. Not only sexually raped with their body parts themselves, but with objects as well. … I was taken to A&E because my vagina was split open from a glass bottle.
In the UK, an A&E (Accident and Emergency) department is strictly for life-threatening emergencies.
When she was 17, Eleanor was present at a stabbing incident involving men connected to the grooming network that had been abusing her. She was not involved in the violence but gave the victim first aid and called emergency services. She was arrested at the scene and charged under the doctrine of joint enterprise with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent. The case did not come to trial until two years later, when Eleanor was an adult, and so she was tried as an adult. She was sentenced to two years in prison.
The taxis would drop a girl off, they’d go in the shop, that taxi would leave, clear the job, then another taxi would pull up. Girls are half drunk, they’re just getting in a taxi thinking it’s the same one and then they’re being took to places to get raped. And there’s a chat, there was a group chat for all the drivers, so they were all communicating with each other. Mainly Muslim taxi drivers.
And from the mother of a survivor:
We’ve had to firebomb-proof our letterbox because we’ve had threats to have the house burnt down. She’s had threats to get her throat slashed. I’ve had threats to get my throat slashed. This has been continuous for four years, constantly.
It was all of the white girls in every home that I went to. And I mean, I’ve seen girls locked ... I remember a man opening the back of a van and I saw maybe 15, 20 girls locked in dog cages. Looked like they’re on drugs.
As a result of her abuse and eating disorder, Jane has developed endometriosis, which has resulted in the loss of half her uterus.
One survivor said she was raped by 100 men in a single years when she was 16.
It was just getting like more and more. Non-stop phone calls. Everyone knew who I was. I couldn’t walk down the street without cars pulling up and just saying, “Get in now.” … It was on a daily basis. It was like, you’d be in one car, and then you’d get a phone call, “You’d better come and meet me now.” So you’d get out of that one car, you’d be in the next car, the next car, so it was about 10 in one night. Mainly Pakistani.
The panelist interviewer then asked the girl, “Were there any white men?” The survivor replied, “No.” Then the panelist asked, “Did they ever speak about religion?”
Yeah. Loads of times. They used to, like, tell me things about the good angel and the bad angel that I’ve been, like, kind of possessed. And they’ve got to punish me to get the badness out of me. That’s why they have to rape me and do all this stuff to me, to get the badness out of me. I’ve got to be punished. Yeah. And it was just all kinds of stuff like that. The words they say to you, you’re gora, like white trash and white skin.
The Hindi term gora refers to white people, and is not necessarily racist, but depending on the context, it can be.
The report alleges that police forces across England and Scotland systematically failed grooming-gang victims. West Midlands Police took hours to respond to missing-child reports and closed exploitation cases without investigation, Greater Manchester Police dismissed a parent reporting his daughter missing and failed to enforce bail conditions on a known rapist, West Yorkshire Police closed a recorded child sexual assault case without investigating the imagery and let men drive off with children unchallenged, South Yorkshire Police allegedly brokered a “no-prosecution deal” trading a missing girl for her abuser’s non-arrest while also targeting activist Tommy Robinson with raids, Merseyside Police discouraged a 12-year-old rape victim from pursuing prosecution, Police Scotland failed to act on digital grooming evidence and lacks systemic tracking for group-based exploitation, and the Metropolitan Police closed a recorded-assault case without investigating its distribution.
Health services are accused of comparable failures. The NHS broadly treated abuse symptoms without safeguarding referrals, NHS Sexual Health Services in West Yorkshire treated a 13-year-old’s repeated STIs without flagging concerns, a Telford GP missed clear exploitation indicators, hospital and psychiatric services discharged children after suicide attempts without protection plans, and CAMHS reframed trafficking and filmed-abuse disclosures as purely psychiatric issues rather than escalating them.
Social care institutions are alleged to have failed just as broadly. An unnamed Metropolitan Borough Council ignored a whistleblower and destroyed records, Tameside Children’s Services undermined a protective parent and returned a victim to her abuse site, other unnamed social services blamed a mother for her own abuse history, placed children with an abusive foster carer and trafficking-linked children’s home, minimized forced religious marriage as “cultural,” dismissed a trafficking disclosure as “choice,” treated a child’s exploitation as “risky behaviour” rather than statutory rape, lost a victim’s diary while treating organized abuse as consensual, gave ineffective intervention in Telford despite repeated gang-rape disclosures, and left a victim in known exploitation housing in Sheffield despite awareness of the risk.
In education, a Telford school allegedly excluded victims for “disturbance” instead of safeguarding them, a Merseyside school failed to separate a victim from her alleged abuser, and an unnamed school ignored visible injuries and a circulated coerced image without response.
Finally, the report alleges taxi licensing authorities took no action against drivers linked to trafficking despite repeated intelligence, one council’s licensing system allowed a children’s home to hand victims directly to drivers for years, and a councillor who publicized a WhatsApp exchange about grooming-gang victims faced disciplinary backlash rather than support.
One survivor was asked, whether she thought that the local imams were aware of any of this. She replied:
They know, 100%, because my friend was, when she was 15, she was sleeping with a guy who was older. She had a baby by him, and his Dad was an imam. His Dad knew. And he got his son married and said that he wasn’t allowed to see the child. They look after their own community.
In May, the respected London imam Abdul Khan was sentenced to life for 21 counts of rape. He had told children that he had magical powers, and used this story to rape them. Last year, a Bradford imam was jailed for raping a boy in a mosque. In 2011, a Stoke-on-Trent imam raped a little boy in the mosque. In 2004, a Bristol imam was jailed for raping a 12-year-old girl during Quran classes. Last year, the Islamic theologian Taj Hargey, who works at the Oxford Centre for British Islam, explainedthat these are not isolated cases, but that imams regularly teach that white girls deserve to be raped and, “with them you can do whatever you wish because they’re all going to hell anyway,” adding, “Muslim rapists will go to heaven.”
But what I find most disturbing, which I quoted above, is this detail:
They believed it was their duty to punish us, as they believed that doing so made them good Muslims. This is what they were taught by their mothers. They were taught that witches in Pakistan are blonde, so blondes are more evil, and they deserve worse punishment.
This is why I believe the problem can never be solved because even the people within this community who are breaking no laws, the mothers who teach their sons to think in this manner, are part of the problem. Naturally, they cannot be legally deported, for they have broken no laws and done nothing wrong other than teach their sons their own beliefs. And they will continue to have many more children than the average native British person. So, just as with the Palestinian population, if you only arrest Hamas members, or men who think raping children makes them good Muslims, then you are effectively trying to plow the ocean because the root of the problem is the Palestinian or Pakistani mother who has taught them to think this way. There is, after all, a reason that one Palestinian famously called his mother to tell her he had just murdered a Jew. He knew she would be proud of her boy.
Outlets that have covered the release of the report include GB News and Sky News, with GB News quoting the report’s claims directly, including its recommendations on deporting every foreign national convicted of group-based child sexual exploitation, automatic loss of citizenship for dual nationals convicted of the offenses, and the argument that the death penalty would be “proportionate” for rape gang crimes.
IBTimes UK ran multiple pieces, including one on the lack of any royal family statement on the report, with neither King Charles nor Prince William commenting. The Daily Caller covered the release, framing it around Lowe’s argument that the true number of victims is probably higher than Pearson’s 250,000 estimate. The Washington Times covered it, citing the report’s 250,000 figure. UnHerd published a more skeptical analysis, explicitly noting that the source of the widely circulated 250,000 figure and raising concerns about some of the report’s specific policy proposals.
That’s it. Nothing from any mainstream British or American paper. I have seen nothing from BBC, Guardian, Telegraph, or Times on the report itself. The royal family is silent. Starmer believes Muslims are the “face of modern Britain” and is more concerned with the backlash against Pakistani Muslims.

Over the course of my career as a journalist, I have interviewed survivors of genocidal violence who were Jewish, Russian, Cambodian, Rwandan, Greek, Guatemalan, Rohingya, Uyghur, Tibetan, Ukrainian, Nigerian, and Tigrayan. When studying or writing about many of these genocides, I focused on the victims of genocidal rape.
In March 2021, Helen Hayes, the Labour MP for Dulwich and West Norwood, gave an impassioned speech in the House of Commons about the war in Tigray, Ethiopia. She said, “10,000 women have been raped. Let that sink in: 10,000 women have been raped.” This was enough for Genocide Watch to acknowledge that genocidal rape was taking place in Tigray. In September 2024, Genocide Watch reported on the genocidal rape in Sudan, where 4,400 women were violated. Putting aside the 250,000 figure, even the most conservative estimate of victims in the UK blows far beyond the numbers for Tigray or Sudan. But whether or not we can use the term genocidal rapedoes not depend on the numbers, as I said above, but rather on the intention. Rape satisfies the underlying requirement for genocide under at least three of the enumerated genocidal acts in the Genocide Convention Art. II (as well as the Rome Statute Art. 6):
In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
These terrorist groups have killed people because they were white British non-Muslims. They have caused serious bodily and mental harm to more girls than we know, or probably will ever know. They have deliberately sought to destroy, in wholeand in part, white British people. They have made girls have abortions and have killed infants. They have forcibly taken children back to the Middle East.
This may be one of the worst tragedies ever to befall the people of Britain. The Black Death killed up to half the nation. The Great Irish Famine killed roughly a million. The First World War left 886,000 British dead. The Second left 450,000 more. These stand among the gravest horrors ever visited on these shores. But Britain survived its plagues and its famines. It survived an empire’s worth of grief and stood against literal Nazis. That is a wound a nation can carry and still call itself unbroken, because the wound was done to them, not by them, and they fought the whole way and triumphed.
But ask yourself which is worse: watching your son take the blows of a disease, the ravages of starving, an empire’s violence, and surviving it all — or watching him cut his own throat, with your help. That is the difference. Plague, famine, and war are things done to a people. What this is, is something a people in part decided to do to themselves, and silenced the victims or anyone who spoke out about it, arresting them if they so much as complained on social media. A nation can heal from famine or war far better than it can come back from something like this. And worst of all, I still see no indication that Britain will even do even a fraction of what is required to stop it.
